Character History:

Jack was raised on Axanar by his father, Henry. His mother died while he was very young.   His father was an Anthropologist studying the axanar culture.  Jack learned many things about the axanar people while living here.  After a tragic incident with some Axanari youth Jack decided to enrol in Starfleet.

At the academy Jack expanded his interest in other species.  He was also seen running all over campus.  He did well in his classes but nothing too outstanding.

On his Cadet cruise he was sent on a diplomatic mission to the planet Gorram. This re-awakened his interest in other cultures. 

After his cadet cruise he was stationed on the USS Delphi.  The Delphi’s Big mission at the time was Planetary survey.  Jack decided that, although he enjoyed exploring new planets, his real interest lay in the meeting and interacting with other cultures and species.  He enrolled in diplomacy school during this tour.

Next he was stationed planetside on Saurus IV with the diplomatic corp.   While he was there the planet suffered from civil unrest.  During this time Jack led a team to defend the federation ambassador to Saurus IV. For his actions he was promoted to LTJG and awarded the citation for
conspicuous gallantry.  He also under went branch training at this time.

He was then assigned as chief science officer on board the USS Searcher.  He spent the next several years exploring and mapping unknown space. During this time his ambitions started to change and he tool Bridge Certification.  He was also promoted to Lt.

His next assignment saw him transferred to command and once again on a diplomatic mission to Darrian.  While on Darrian a member of the delegation violated some local laws and was prosecuted on planet.  Jack inspired by this took legal training.

Once again promoted to LtCmdr Jack spent the next several years fighting , first Orion pirates and then several Maquis enclaves. At the recommendation of his CO he enrols and completes command school.  It's also during this time that he earned the Kragite order of heroism, when he was seriously wounded while saving several fellow crewman.

His last tour was as 1st officer aboard the Yagaki.  At this time the War with the dominion is in full swing.  During a battle the Yagaki's Captain is killed and Jack takes over command and saves the ship and the remainder of the patrol.  For this he is awarded the Medal of Honour and promoted to captain and given command of the USS Yagaki

Now the war is over and he is being assigned to a new ship, the Galaxy Class Venture.  His first Command.

Personality: Somewhat reserved, Jack likes to use the skills of those around him to the utmost.  He realizes his rise to command was rather rushed out of necessity. 

Appearance: 6'2" 200lbs.  Blonde hair, gray-green eyes.  Clean shaved, short well groomed hair.
